Personal training · Training at home
Already got the kit? Let's make it useful.

Bought some dumbbells with the best intentions? Got an exercise bike that's gathering dust? Or perhaps the garage gym has slowly become another storage space?
You're certainly not the only one.
Having exercise equipment at home is a great starting point, but knowing what to do with it, finding the motivation and making exercise part of your routine can be harder than expected.
The good news is that you probably don't need more equipment. You might just need a better plan.
Start with what you've already got
You don't need a fully equipped gym to make progress.
Whether you've got a pair of dumbbells, resistance bands, an exercise bike or a few larger pieces of equipment, we can build a realistic training routine around what you already own.
The important thing is finding exercises that suit your current ability, your goals and the time you have available.
Make it manageable
One of the biggest mistakes people make is starting with a routine that's too demanding.
If life is already busy, expecting yourself to train five times a week might not be realistic.
I'd rather we start with two manageable sessions and build from there.
Even 30 minutes of focused exercise at home can be a useful starting point.
Once those sessions become part of your routine, we can gradually build on them.
You don't have to work it all out yourself
Sometimes the hardest part isn't the exercise itself. It's knowing what to do, whether you're doing it correctly and how to keep progressing.
That's where working with a personal trainer can help.
I can help you work out which exercises suit you, put together a realistic plan and provide the guidance, encouragement and accountability to keep you moving.
And because we can work online, you don't necessarily need to leave home or join a gym.
Your home equipment doesn't need to gather dust. Let's make it work for you.
